Steve offers a dog taxi service to provide safe, comfortable transportation for dogs when you need help getting them to appointments or other agreed locations. This includes trips to the vets, groomers, training or hydro appointments. It can also include a stay with relatives or a trusted home boarder. Steve is fully insured, pet first aid trained and holds a clear, up-to-date DBS check.

Transportation

Dogs are transported in a secure, fully air-conditioned vehicle. Your dog will travel in their spacious crate with comfortable bedding, helping keep journeys calm and settled. Adjustments are made to account for the weather, ensuring you dog remains comfortable in all seasons.

Fresh water is always available, and your dog will be offered a drink before and after journeys. For longer journeys, regular water and toilet breaks are provided.

Calm Handling Throughout

Care is taken at pick-up to ensure your dog is are relaxed and settled before travel begins. Steve works with dogs every day and uses calm, steady handling to keep the experience as relaxed as possible, particularly for dogs that may feel unsure or anxious.

Journeys are planned in advance, with routes considered ahead of time to keep travel smooth and efficient. Wherever possible, unnecessary delays are avoided to make the journey as comfortable as it can be.

Appointments and Waiting

For shorter appointments, Steve remains on site and waits while your dog is being seen, before transporting them safely back home. Where appointment timings vary, the process will be agreed in advance so the day runs smoothly.
